Our Mission

Our Philosophy
Our educational philosophy centers on a learning environment that stimulates and supports children’s growth and development. We blend Traditional and Montessori approaches through teacher-directed activities and structured play. We believe each child should have experiences that build self-esteem—essential in the adjusting, exploring, and growing stages of development. This approach helps each child learn at the right pace and level, with a strong foundation for the years ahead.
Our teaching philosophy offers a carefully balanced day of developmentally appropriate lessons and activities. We believe each child is unique. Structured activities remain flexible enough to encourage self-discovery, so children can explore and learn at their own pace. Our teachers help each child be their best.
General Information
Oakcrest Preparatory Academy offers full-time childcare and preschool for children ages 6 weeks to Pre-Kindergarten, plus a school-age program for elementary students. Our facilities include a full-service kitchen, an indoor community atrium, an art studio, a sensory/tactile room, and a Technology Center. Our curriculum is designed for academic and personal development, with enrichment spaces that add exploration and fun to the day.
